sim card form mobile phone

as the kids are now getting older and we dont wont to get them dam 2 way radios i was wondering if you can buy sim cards for our uk mobile (cellular to you) phone on "pay as you go" we know that the phone will work on usa network what are the costs for the calls and sim card

I don't know. I would check with providers that use them. I know T Mobile uses SIM cards, AT & T does not (at least my year-old Nokia doesn't).

T-Mobile definitely uses SIM cards (they're the only network that does), as long as your mobile is tri-band (since the US has a different frequency). I'm not sure how much the pre-pay plans costs, but you can check at www.tmobile.com

Some of Motorola's phones (Nextel) have SIM cards. I don't know if you can buy it by itself, though. Good luck!
