Silver Springs anyone???

Hi All...has anyone been to Silver Springs lately? DH wants to stop their on our way to Orlando.....I've never been. We're two retired people with no children.....what do you say? Is it worth the admission price? It seems kind of high, we're watching our budget. LOL - thats why I love my AP...I can go and go and go and go!!!! Thanks...Barb

Gosh, I haven't been there since I was a child! I didn't even know it was still there. I remember as a child I thought those glass bottom boats were so cool. I'd love to go again sometime. Disney kinda sucks you in and it's hard to go anywhere else! How much does it cost now?

I haven't been in the last couple of years - they used to give school board employees here yearly passes but stopped a couple of years ago. It's a nice park - I've never thought it was worth the cost of admission though. Especially if you've been before. I might go if there was a concert going on that I wanted to see. I do like to feed the alligators! It would be a pleasant way to spend some time if you don't care about the admission costs.
