Silver Plan Magical Wishes Question

Last year, my DH and I had the silver plan package on our trip and we really liked it a lot. We will be going back this September with our in-laws.

If my DH and I added the Silver plan to our exisiting package, would we be able to use some of our wishes to treat his parents to dinner at a nice restaurant? Or are wishes only for the people in that party?

(We have a seperate package than his parents).

Hi there! I don't think there would be a problem treating your in-laws - just tell the server how many wishes you want to use before he/she takes your order. I did this last year at the Sci-Fi Diner when my youngest did not want to eat all the food the plan gives you. One of our friends joined us and I used her "wish" on him.

When are you going in September? I'll be at WDW the second week.

Thanks for the reply. We're still debating whether or not this is something we want to do but it helps to know that we can use our wishes on other people.

We'll be there the third week (13th-20th).

Does this mean that you can use all your wishes on one day or at different times. I guess what I am asking is can we not you some on one day and then use 8 on hte next day?

You can use the wishes anyway you wish...all in one day, none a day, or even one a day. It's just really how you choose to do it.

In October 2001, you could use all wishes in one day if you wanted (4 nights, 2 people = 4*2*2=16 wishes, so you could use all 16 on day 1).

I was wondering if you can keep you wishes. See we are staying at Port Orleans for 3 nights then at Wilderness Lodge for 5 nights. If I don't use all the wishes from port orleans can we use them with the rest of our stay?

My DH and I have been on the phone to WDW everyday last week (AAA didn't have any info on the FTP at all). One nice person my DH talked to said that the plans cover your travel time not where you stay. If you're staying for 7 days, you have 7 days worth of wishes and it doesn't matter where you stay - as long as you are still in an authorized resort or property.
