I just extended my silver plan another day. Our goal is to take a nice relaxed vacation! Not doing Disney COMMANDO style. We have 9 days so we don't need to rush from ride to ride. So we are going to enjoy the shows and the meals during our 9 days stay.

This is what we have decide to do with our 32 wishes. Boy, are we going to get my hard earned monies worth. I am so excited!!!! I have already booked reservation for spa, hoop de doo, mickey barbeque, and Spirit of Aloha! We are doing a lot of sit down meals. I looked at the menus on wdwig.com for an choices. So many choices so little time! I am going to make sure all of my pants have elastic in them :) ! I will also be on the phone with auto redial at 5:59 a.m. central time.

If you know the value of an item I guessed at please share!

1 Alica In Wonderland Tea Party $30.00

Tell me how you spent your wishes! Did you think your Silver is worth it? I will probably change this 10x before we get there but its a running start :)

Just a quick and simple thought, each wish is costing you about $35 each so from what I see you're doing okay on a lot of your choices, but coming up short on others. You need to stay away from buffets because you're not going to eat $35 a peice in food. Your meal will probably total that for the two of you, but it will be 2 wasted wishes.
Stick with lunches or dinners and remember at the 2 wish restaurants, each of you will have to eat about $70 a peice in food!! :faint: If you can do that, then more power to ya! I know that DH and I eat that($70 total) together in meals, but don't plan on spending that much in food this time around on our next trip. I did the silver plan before and lost money because I didn't research it enough. Would I do it again, no...because I know that DH and I just come out better by sharing meals and doing a little more counterservice. :D

Hi Isteadman :wave2:

Tiggerlover has a good point. Do remember that your wishes cost you about 34.00 each.

Looks like you have a great wish itinerary planned there. I must say though that breakfast is a meal that you will not be getting your money's worth with, as well as the buffet's.

For our last trip, we had the silver plan too. I had packed small boxes of cereal and granola bars that we grabbed one of for a quick breakfast before heading out for the day. This made us really ready to eat a early lunch (about 11 or 11:30am),eat our money's worth, then have a late supper (6-7:30 pm) and again be hungary enough to eat our money's worth.
After two silver plan trips, I think I have it down to a science ;-)

We are planning on using the silver plan again for our next trip! My Dh wouldn't do Disney any other way.

From what I understand the OP's child is 8, so isn't the silver package cheaper for kids?

OP..have you thought about doing a kids club one night for your daughter? That would be a great way to spend a wish!!

Just wondering how much does it cost per person for the sliver plan, I think I read about 68 each?

The Silver Plan actually costs more than $68. To add it to the Dreammaker Package, it's $67 per adult and $54 per child. That would put the package at about a little over $400 per person.

Where did you set the four dollar figure? I that per week? What I meant was per day was about $68 dollars not for the whole week

I'm not too sure what you're asking, but let me give it a try.
Each wish on the silver plan comes to about $35 each, so if you wanted to figure out what it's costing you, you would have to multiply that by the number of days you are at Disney. Does that make any sense. If you're in Disney for 7 days and 6 nights, then multiply 35 x 6 and you come up to about $210 for your week on the silver plan. You also have to understand that the silver plan includes the price of your tickets and room total, but if I'm understanding you correctly, it seems as though you're trying to figure out what each wish is costing you daily. Once again, about $35. Did that help?

OK, I'm a little confused...when I was looking on the Disney site; it stated that the magical wishes were $55 per day for adults and $35 per day for child. Am I looking at the wrong thing? or is this something different? I'm trying to figure out if the magical wishes are worth it? At the $55 per day price I was coming close, but, if we're talking 68-70 I'm not sure I can make it work....any help is appreciated.....

Kevin you are correct: OK, I'm a little confused...when I was looking on the Disney site; it stated that the magical wishes were $55 per day for adults and $35 per day for child.

In addition, I contacted Donald Double Feature and found out that the clock and the memory box retails for $45 each. In addition, I contacted the Art of Disney and found out that the Mickey Crystal figurine has been replaced with a Tinkerbell all crystal figurine that retails for $95.00 dollars.

As far as the meals. It will all balance out with higher which choices like the $95.00 for figure $116. Cirque and all the spa stuff. I figure I was up around $350 from what the difference in the Dream Maker to the Dream Make plus Silver. The big bonus is ............I don't have to cook any of it. No cooking...no cleaning...no long work meetings to attend....no flights to catch.....just fun in the World. I wish I had more PTO days to use this year!
