I just called to confirm our reservation for August. I was told we were in the 1800 building which was closest to the pools. We have a washer and dryer and it is a 1 bedroom. Any info on if this building is good or should I just ask to switch when I check in.

Building 1800 is one of the taller buildings next to the clubhouse. Your room could overlook the pool (noisy), clubhouse roof, or parking lot. The computers, work out room and theater are on the first floor. There is an elevator for the 2nd-5th floors.

The rooms are bigger than the 1 bedrooms in the newer buildings 800-1000, but not quite as nicely decorated. There are two different floor plans so it is hard to say if you will be in the H&G units (with larger jetted tub in master bath of the G unit) or A&B units (no dishwasher, smaller with standard size bath in the B unit). Hope for a G unit (if I am remembering my letters correctly) with its large master tub and separate shower.

I have not seen the rooms since their last remodel. Last time I stayed, there were still some signs of the older colors (mauve and teal) in the units.

I think it will be fine. The worst one bedrooms are in buildings 100-700. I've never been assigned one of those.

We own two weeks in a 2 bedroom in the 100 - 700 buildings, It is a great resort back gate to Disney property Literally!!!. IF you PM me I can email you some photos showing the 1800 building.
