Silver/gold gifts on Wonder Down Under?

I've seen that a passenger who hit silver by doing a B2B received the old plain lanyard and old triangle backpack for their silver gifts. I'm silver and hitting gold on one of our cruises, so I'm disappointed if I don't get the new gifts. Can any silver & gold passengers on the Aussie cruises tell me what gifts they received?

They have gone back to the old gifts. We received the triangular backpack, cooler bag and the luggage tags. It was only the old lanyards as well. Many people complained to Guest Services on board and were told that the 'new gifts' were only for the anniversary and all sailings had gone back to the original gifts which we all knew weren't true. The Hawaii to Sydney guests were given the Anniversary gifts but we weren't.

Wow!! That’s disappointing!! Even though we personally would love to get the luggage tags again as one of ours was stolen off the airport luggage carousel (together with the bag it was attached to).

Yikes! That’s disappointing. I was really looking forward to the Mickey lanyards.

I guess they’re counting on most Aussie cruisers being first time cruisers.

Most Australian Cruises are first timers. Only 5% of the first cruise was return guests. The highest % of return guests on any of the Australian/New Zealand Sailings is 7%

The Hawaii to Sydney guests were given the Anniversary gifts

I was told they were using remaining 25th anniversary stock and once it had run out, the old gifts and cabin keys would return. So maybe there is no more of the 25th anniversary stock available?

Yes, maybe. We gave the gifts away to friends, as we have plenty. We were hoping for the anniversary gifts since they're new.

It could have been a decision based solely on the guests for the down under cruises (i.e. predominantly first time cruisers, so they could just offload leftover stock for the extremely limited repeat cruisers).

The gifts weren't advertised as being only for the anniversary and they don't have any anniversary markings on them, so it's reasonable to expect DCL to continue offering them. Has anyone spotted the old gifts outside of the AU/NZ cruises?

That’s my suspicion, too. They just want to move the left over stock and thought this is a good chance. Or they sent the wrong container…

On our Med cruise, which was the first of the season, there was no 25th anniversary merch because there was some sort of shipping issue. So, not surprising if there are things maybe connected to supply issues in Australia as well.

Yes, I had posted that they were for the anniversary a couple of months back and was “corrected” by many people. Was hoping I was wrong.

It's probably port issues that got their stuff delayed from shipping.
