We are Gold and got the bag and luggage tags for our June 19 AK trip. We love the bag and the tags are very nice.

We were on the 8/2/17 Alaska cruise and only our Platinum room receive the luggage tags. The Gold room just received the bag

Did the Platinum room also get the choice of items usually given to Platinum? (choice of fruit bowl/plate of truffles/sparking wine).

Another oddball here I liked the burlap bag as well--it held a TON of stuff! We Febreezed our bag before we used it and it totally took care of that bizarre smell that was on the bag. But I don't need another!! Hopefully we get something different on the WBTA next month

Yes, that was still offered. We had to call room service to let them know which item we wanted. We went for the truffles and it was a box of 5 tiny chocolates in different flavors. I think I will try the sparkling wine next time

The truffles are okay, but the Ghirardelli chocolate are better.

Yup, it is a perfect sized beach bag! We live near the beach so we use ours all the time!
