Silly ????

I'm not trying to start anything but I'm sure that I'm not the only one that thinks that some of the questions (and polls) are just plain silly. I won't mention any so as not to hurt someones feelings.

Just need to get that off my chest.

Disnee Dad Say.............................Hey, are you trying to start something! Actually I love silly questions, and usually it is just an uninformed person. My favorite was "How long does it take to walk from All Stars to the Magic Kingdom?" !!! At least the person had the guts to ask, got the correct answer and was more informed than many that go.

That's not a silly question.

But I'd like to know why someone would want to walk that far.

It looks like it's a couple of miles.

People ask questions for all sorts of reasons and what appears silly out of context may actually be very reasonable and necessary to someone's planning.

I always wondered why anyone would ask about walking from BW to MGM. Why not just take the bus? But this last trip found my DS and I looking for the absolute fastest way to get to MGM, with no bus in sight, so I asked the valet that very question.

Besides, isn't it fun to be able to help someone by providing an answer, regardless of it's seeming silly to us or not? I prefer not to judge their motives, but rather to just answer if I can or hit the back button if I can't.

I still think some of them are silly.

And I can give a good example. One of MY threads!!

I asked "Clockwise or Counterclockwise?" thinking that we usually do most of the parks counterclockwise. I didn't ask if there was an advantage to one way or the other, it was just an observation and wanted to know how others traversed the parks.

That, to me, is a silly question.

Cleo is right! There are reasons for all questions. I asked once on the tip board what the best way to have a t-shirt signed by characters was and some one wrote back....."ummmm wear it " I felt stupid, thinking, duuuhh that was the obvious answer how dumb am I!!

Turns out characters won't sign anything you're wearing!!!!!!

Now I don't feel so dumb!!
