Silly Warning Labels...

I bought a new hair dryer today, and included with the instructions were to *not use the hair dryer while in the shower,* and to *not use the hair dryer while asleep.*

Anyone else seen any ridiculous warning labels?

My DH and I were laughing about the warning sticker they place on my bottle of prescription sleeping pills . "May cause drowsiness"

Well, DUH taking it with alcohol would impair your driving ability!

I've seen Superman and Batman Halloween costumes with labels, "Costume does not allow the user to fly."

My all-time favorite weird one is on lawnmovers where it warns not to pick it up and use as a hedge trimmer. Why is this odd label on lawnmowers? Well, one guy actually picked up his lawnmover and trimmed his hedges with it. He got hurt, sued, and won! Common sense went out the door too!

I once had one of those cardboard thingies you put in your windshield to keep the car cool. There were instructions on it, saying to UNFOLD it first. It also said to be sure and REMOVE it from the windshield before driving.

I shouldn't be laughing because all those labels are obviously there for a reason ... but some of those are too funny! I love the warnings on the Batman and Superman costumes
