Silly ticket question

We are going on an 8 day trip in November. I just priced out an 8 day park hopper on UT, and noticed that a 10 day MYW is about $42 cheaper per adult ticket. If we were to park hop on a few days, would it just eat up the extra days? So as long as we didn't park hop on more than 2 days, that would be a doable solution and save us some $$, correct? Or am I looking at this wrong?

No. The only way to enter more than one park per day is to purchase the park hopper add-on.

You cannot burn two "days" on a non park hopping ticket in a single calendar day. They will only let you enter one park per day without the PH feature.

If it is a Parkhopper you can visit multiple ThemeParks each day for as many days on the pass.

If it is a 10-day MYW Base Ticket (not a park hopper) you may only visit one Theme Park each day. Additional days may not be used to visit additional parks on the same day.

Did you look at the price of a AP. I know around 10 is the break even plus you get the 10% discount on merchandise.
