So...if someone is around...250ish pounds...he would be okay to ride this...? Its not so much that he's round..he's just really tall and well..a bit weighty...and huge because of that...but I don't wanna ride without him

i am not going to say yes or no to your question, because I really don’t know, but a couple who was behind me on SSS got off the same time as me and was walking behind me and I over heard them say that the tandem seats are better as more room, that the little red seats are really uncomfortable…so.. I hope that helps you!

anyhow back to SSS, i had such a fun time on those swings. it's way better then the orange stinger!

I am wondering about this, and maybe someone here knows.

I rode this last week with my 4 year old son (in a tandem swing). He LOVED it (and so did I!)

However, I have another son, who is almost 6. He is only 44" though. My DH is currently deployed, so I take my boys to DLR by myself quite a bit.

Since both of my boys are under 48", but there is only one of me, do you think they would allow my older son to ride in a yellow (harnessed) tandem swing by himself, while I ride next to the younger one in a tandem swing? Since I will be on the ride right next to my older son, do you think they'd allow this? Or, are we just out of luck if I don't have another adult with me?

The sign does say ride with a "responsible person". I'm not sure if they have a contingency plan for situations like yours. Bottom line is to keep them safe though.
