"Silly" questions about upgrade?

OK, I booked online for POP with the free dining in September. Then I got the email to upgrade. I called this morning and was able to upgrade to SSR. Did I lose the dining? I tried looking at my ressie online, it still shows me at POP (CM told me it may take a day to show up), but my ressie doesn't show the dining. Did this happen to anyone else?

Others here have reported getting this same upgrade and they asked if the free dining was still included and the CM said yes. So don't worry.

Same here. SSR is showing up on the site. It does not mention free dining.
The CM told DH 2 times he still had free dining. Im going to call tomorrow anyways. I need to check 2 ADRS and add none expiration to our tickets.


Disneys website is slow. I think thats crazy. It should be right on! We should be able to do ADRS on line too!

when you check online go to the area where you have to put your reservation number and phone number and you will see your revised info, any other way you might see old info

Amgine27, Thanks so much for clarifying that! I also got the upgrade from POP to SSR and I kept checking online in the itinerary section and still saw POP! I was so nervous yesterday that I called WDW just to confirm. I just went in using my ressie and phone and saw it updated to SSR . Still doesn't say free dining, but I've confirmed multiple times.

I called last night to make sure that I still had free dining, since it wasn't listed on the updated ressie. He said it showed on his screen. So we're all set, ENJOY!

I was told I would get a new conf. letter in the mail after upgrading. They had to cancel my old reservation and add a new reservation to get the upgrade but I have the same conf#. It won't state it on the web site but the new conf. letter should have it on there. Plus I already called to add resort request and ask just to make sure and it showed free dining.

Just off the phone with Disney. Got the In-laws upgraded to a 1 bdrm villa at SSR with us!

Yes FREE DINING is included!

We will have a great trip! It started out being a budget trip!

We are booked with an agent, labor day weekend and there has not been a mention of an upgrade but I am booked at POFQ not a value.

Everyone that replied said they were booked thru CRO/WDWTravel - website and phone.

I also am booked at a moderate - thru Travelocity. I got a spectacular deal so I can't complain enjoy..

Congratz again to those that took advantage of the upgrade! WOOHOO!!! Thats Disney!

Do you save money by going thru travelocity? I never thought of going thru them for disney resorts.

I'm staying at POR the last week of August and I am hoping for an upgrade!

I saved ALOT of money thru travelocity. It was a mistake - I spent over an hour on the phone with the cr and 2 of her supervisors explaining the mistake, they allowed me to book it.

It seems that you had to book directly through Disney to get the upgrade. It was offered via email ONLY to people booked in value resorts arriving 8/26 - 9/01 and even then not everyone got it, it just randomly went to some people who fell within that demographic.
