How do I rename links that I place into my posts so it does not show http:// and so on?

How do I rename links that I place into my posts so it does not show http:// and so on?

Type out whatever you want to say in reference to your link.

Then highlight it with your cursor.

Make sure you have copied the actual link you want to use.

Click on this:

Copy your chosen link into the box.

Double check that it only says http:// once....

Click okay and you are good to go.

Go into the forum you want to ask a question in and look for this:



Click on it - it's usually in the upper left-hand corner, just above the box that holds all of the threads.

That will take you to the screen to title and ask your question.

Then hit submit.
