Silly question time ....... re: fast passes

Can someone please advise .......... do I need to make fp+ for my great nephew who will be under 3 when we go and therefore won't have a ticket ?

As mine were technically adults when fp+ all come along I don't have a clue

i just did all our fastpasses
our group of 8 included a one year old, who doesn't have a ticket..

the one time i accidentally included her in the group, the system immediately stopped me to say "there's a problem"...
the system couldn't find a ticket associated with her so no fastpass..

but that's ok because that's how it works...
the child who is under 3 and without a ticket doesn't need a fastpass...he/she will go into the fastpass line with you....but only on rides that he/she can actually ride...

on the rides that the under-3 child can ride, if you all have fastpasses, he will just go into the fastpass line with you.

on rides that he is too small to ride, he won't be able to go into the fastpass line with you.
but you can obtain a rider swap card for him...
