silly question re: philhar magic

What does Philhar mean?????

It's a play on the word "Philharmonic", a symphony term...you might have to google it for a full definition. I'm not entirely sure!

It is a 3D musical extravaganza cartoon. I think its a play on the word Philharmonic as in Orchestra.

thanks for the quick replies! Philhar Magic is my top 3 favorite things in WDW, and something I always suggest people see when they visit...but I didn't know what Philar meant! It makes sense with the play on words. thanks!

It's philharmagic - all one word. There's really no meaning to "philhar" on its own.

Yep - "phil" = love, "harmonic" = harmonic

This was the best 3-D movie that I've ever seen.
At first I thought that I thought this because I hadn't been to any of the other days ones in many years, but by the end of our trip, I saw all four, and none of them compared to Philharmagic (and that's coming from a huge Muppet fan)

agreed. the advances in technology and design between Muppet's 3D and Philharmagic are vast. even It's Tough to Be a Bug's 3D effects pale in comparison to Philharmagic. (the other elements that interact with you in ITTBAB still make it a family favorite though. nothing says "good time" like bee stings in your back and beetles crawling under your rear!!!)

i look forward to the day when they update their other 3D movies to the newer technology.
