Silly Question....but still....

Ok, hopefully this isn't too silly of a question. We are renting points from a DVC member. She booked our ressie and my question is...Is this just like a normal reservation where you are only guaranteed a room somewhere or is it set in stone that you will be at the resort booked? I would hate to be moved to a diffrent place and would think it would be where booked but who knows? I did a search and couldn't find anything...

When your reservation is booked with points, its the same as booking a room for cash. You are booked at specific resort, some of the resorts also have different boking categories, like savannah view or standard view at the AKV or a boardwalkview at the BWV.
So whatever resort you agreed on is where you would stay

You will be in the resort and room category that you booked. Only in extremely bazaar cases has anyone had to go to another resort (like an unexpected major maintenance problem). On very rare occasions a guest might be upgraded to a better room if there is a problem with the room originally booked but the odds of being moved to another resort are infinitesimal.

Great! That is exactly what I was hoping! I booked the resort and category I wanted so i definitely don't expect anything "extra." I just wanted to stay here! Btw...it is VWL--which you can probably tell from my signature . Can't wait even though it's a while away!
