silly question about those egg thingys

I have one of those eggs on my signature (i thought they were neat though i didn't really understand them) and it says that it is supposed to hatch on march 1 but mine hasn't hatched. am i supposed to do something?

i just hit the refresh button and now i can see it, how strange is that?!!
