Silly Question about resort rooms...

DS will be almost 6 months old when we go to Disneyworld. We know that they are giving us a Pack'n'play for the room, but do they also have bath chairs or will I need to bring his from home?

I've never seen a bath chair in a room. That said, you may want to call the resort and ask first if they could provide one before figuring out how to pack one - I know last year we called for an extra high chair and they brought one to us (that was at a DVC resort, not sure if they have different stuff than the hotels).

You can rent almost anything you need from a Baby's Best Friend. We rented a full size crib which worked better for us than a pack-n-play. Our DD couldn't sleep in one. A good night's sleep was well worth the cost. As far as the bath tub, we just put a folded towel in the bottom of the tub abd laid her on that with about an inch of water. It worked fine except for ringing out that heavy towel!

We used them many times when our guy was a baby, and they were a lifesaver! I have nothing but good things to say about their service!

Or you can get one of those blow up bath tubs & put it in the tub. I used it on my kids a few times.

How about using the sink? We always used the bathroom sink and kitchen sinks to wash the kids when they were big enough to sit up (supported by me, of course!) and small enough to fit in there.

Also, how about taking the baby in the shower or bathtub with you for a little while? It's a little tricky in the shower, but we never dropped either kid, even when they were slippery and soapy!

We used one of those blow-up tubs when one of our ds's was that age. The funny thing was that we couldn't get it fully deflated, and it wouldn't fit back in our suitcase, so we had to leave it behind. I was also quite proud of myself for managing to pack (in a suitcase) a bouncy seat, so we couldn't have to hold baby constantly.

We bought the munchkin blow up "duck" bath tub for trips and it worked great. It was about $10 at Target. Money well spent.

Our first trip w/ds w/out the tub was a disaster at bathtime because the sink was too small and he litterally freaked out when I tried to bath him in the regular tub (w/me holding him). But he usually bathed in a baby bath tub at home and he went thru a whole phase of being scared by the regular tub which eventually went away (after that first trip I started putting the baby tub in the big tub so he'd get used to it).
