Silly question about receiving docs....

Hi all, Merry Christmas......

I have a question.....I work two jobs and are rarely home. I know that UPS delivers your docs....(right)? Anyway, if it is UPS, and I am never home, if I leave a note for him to leave the package....will it fit in my mailbox or should I make arrangements to pick it up from them? I live right on a major street and dont know that I can trust someone walking by not to touch my mail/package. Any advice will help.

P.s. my first disney cruise was a make-a-wish and they hand delivered my docs so I was just curious!

Last year it was FedEx. If you are not home, the driver will leave you a pick up slip on your door. You can call the company and the will hold for you to pick it up at there office. Last year we went to Disneyland with Disney Travel Com. and they sent the doc thru FedEx. But My DH didn't pay attacion to the door. So on the 3ed day I checked the mail. It is 5:30 PM and we are running about 40 miles so they wouldn't send them back. It had all the hotel info, tickets, food cupons and everything elce. If they would have sent them back it would have been a disaster.

it really depends on who you bought the cruise from. i bought mine from travelocity.com and they sent ours fedex and signature was definitely required. we weren't home the first time around and they wouldn't let us sign the door slip.

each company has a different method of shipping your cruise docs.

Mine just arrived this week, UPS, no signature required so it was just left at my doorstep. Since we have two cabins, they came in two seperate pkg's. And the second one got held up due to the big snow storm! UPS actually made NO deliveries on Dec 23 & 24 here in our area!

Oh I see....I booked through a travel agent in Florida, Adventure Travel....I dont know how they ship but thanks a million for the info.
