Silly question about baked potatoes

I know this is wierd but DH is running the marathon and he always eats a lot of baked potatoes the day before he runs a marathon. Does anyone know Disney restaurants that serve baked potatoes? COuld he get them from room service at the Contemporary? I looked at the allears menus and they all seem to be mashed potatoes and I can't remember ever ordering them in the past.

You know how men are - our whole trip could ride on whether or not he can get these baked potatoes. I really don't want to have to rent a car just so we can find a Wendys! (LOL)

If I remember correctly, outside the Hall of Presidents at MK, there is a cart there that sells just baked potatoes. Try it out. They looked huge, and very good.

There used to be several of those carts around the parks; last time we visited we didn't see them so I had thought they were gone. Has there been recent sightings, especially of my favorite one, in Disney-MGM Studios, just outside the Beauty and the Beast Theater?

Robyn-if you are staying at the Contemporary that is a deluxe resort. My experience over the past 10 years has been that anything is possible with them. I would definitely call room service and also visit the Concourse Steakhouse and explain your request. Concourse serves baked potatoes anyway and room service can usually get things if it is "on property". Your hubby will be one of many runners so this is not an odd request. Give them a chance to help you.

Thanks - I thought I remembered having them through GF room service but I couldn't find anything on the menus. I'll just have him call them while I take the kids to eat that night.

I definetly saw the baked potato cart outside the Hall of Presidents this last weekend. Don't recall seeing one outside of the B and B theater

I imagine any of the restaurants on property that serves a bake potato as a side would be able to and willing to server them as an "entree". The concourse steak house lists them on the dinner menu as a side item at $2.99 per potato, so you shouldn't have any trouble getting them there for dinner.

Are these meal-size baked potatoes with fixings? No salsa, I bet. Sour cream and cheese and stuff? Broccoli and cheese? (I'm a huge potato fan...)

The outside Pres.hall might be LIBERTY sq.Stand and it has them listed on menu I think .Mostly All I eat is baked poes so I either get a Micro and go shopping or start looking for short trips like this one .
