silly pool question

I put my down payment on SSR yesterday am very ANXIOUSLY awaiting the BIG fed ex package. Couldn't be more excited!!!
My question is I saw a post regarding pool's being used by nonmembers in December. Are the pools heated in the winter? If so at which resorts?
I also want to thank everyone for answering all the questions I've posted in the last few weeks, you really eased my mind with the entire process!!!! Now if only it was June and we were flying to Florida life would be PERFECT!

All WDW pools are heated! Sometimes in December, you can see the steam rising into the 30-40 degree air.

I know how you feel, though, we're waiting for the LITTLE Fed-Ex package tomorrow; although I get the feeling that the big one might be coming sooner than we planned.

Not according to my in-laws. Last December while the boys spend the day chasing after little dimply white balls, the girls took the kids to Blizzard Beach. According to them, the pools were freezing. It was a warm day but had rained extensively two days before.

I just told them what did they expect, it's glacier runnoff?

You must not have read the brochure as closely as I did, LOL!

We probably won't go to the waterparks at first so as long as the resorts pools are heated that's awesome! I thought it was nice here in Texas in the winter but it sounds like Florida is PERFECT! What is the typical temp in DEC?

And we got our little FexEx package. A little letdown, and 95% of the info we already knew - but lots of pictures and maps; and the other (non-WDW) options are interesting.

I had no idea the temps were that great! THanks for the info.
I'm jealous you got your package, sorry it wasn't as exciting as you hoped but just think you're that much closer to the big WELCOME HOME!
