Silly ??? DVC & Dining plan

We are confirmed for June 7 nights at AKV concierge. We have made some ADRS through concierge already....we are not finished yet. We are still considering on adding the dining plan to our stay through DVC. Once I call member services and do this...will my credit card be charged right away? Or will it not be charged until we arrive in Florida? Also, do we have to let the concierge know of our dining plan ahead of time before reservations are made? I guess I just want to make sure our current reservations will still be ok if we do decide to do the dining plan. Thanks!!

With DVC reservations you will not pay for the dining plan until you check in at the resort. The DDP may be applied to existing ADRs - they will usually ask when you arrive at the restaurant and again when the server comes to your table.

Your ADR's have nothing to do with the DDP so don't worry.

Member Services cannot accept payment for the dining plan, so you won't pay for it until you arrive and check in at the resort. But it has to be added to your reservation no later than 48 hours before your arrival date.
