Silly Disney GC question

We are leaving for our trip next week and purchased quite a few gift cards to prepay for room charges, including tours. Do we need to scratch off the PIN number section on the back of each card?

We used these on our cruise last year and they just swiped it at the machine to take care of charges. I think you only have to scratch off if you're paying online or if the card is not physically present. HTH.

You don't have to, but I do only because I verify each one on the Disney Gift Card website to make sure the balances are loaded correctly.

I would strongly recommend checking the balances on them before you leave home. It's a rude surprise to find out they aren't activated when you are there.
