Does anyone know if the planes are equipped with TV's like Song used to be? We're flying Saturday out of NY and just curious what to pack for entertainment. I tried calling Delta, but I was on hold for waaaaay too long lol!! Thanks for any info!

There are some planes so equipped, but they tend to fly cross country. I doubt you will get one from CT. Plan on not having it!

I agree with CarolA. They use the TV equipped planes for long haul flights but you never know.

When we flew with Delta from Kansas City, we were on Comair--I didn't quite realize the Comair planes are so, errr, petite. And, nope, no TV's, although I think I spied an 8-track player in the cockpit--just kidding! This time around, I'm booked on Midwest Airlines Signature Service. Ahh, I can taste the fresh-baked cookies right now!

Pack the iPod's and Gameboys, and have a great flight!

Also nyet to flying to Russia on a 767 on Delta. No personal screen TV's just the overhead ones in couch class. This was in May 2006 and June 2006. FYI the also didn't change the movies around. I saw Cheaper by the Dozen four times. :badpc:

We had them from cali connection to orlando, but flying back there were not any on board. nor were there any from hawaii to cali. I think they have very very few. Contentintal does have them.

Thanks for all the replies!! Guess we're bringing the PSP and Ipod!

Hello

I think they have only In-Seat Entertainment on the Boing 777 , an on some 767 Planes .

We are flying from Germany to Atlanta many times , and they have only those Monitors every 10th row .

In Business Class everybody has his own Monitor .

You can watch witch System your Plane has on Seatguru

bye

We had them on Cincinnati to Orlando leg of our flight over President's week. That was the first time I have ever been on a plane with them and they were so nice to have. On the way back, there was a single screen in the front of the plane from Orlando to Atlanta. I would bring your own earphones just in case but I wouldn't count on it.

Bummer. When we flew to Orlando on Song, we got a plane out of Bradley that had the individual screens. I don't remember what type of plane it was, but I was rather hoping for it this coming time too.

Hmmm we're flying out of LGA, and it says on the itinerary that our plane is a 757, so maybe we'll get lucky... Probably not, but hey wishful thinking right! :rotfl:
