Ok, I know this may be silly - but today is the first day I can check the weather for my Orlando trip at Accuweather.com!!! I always get excited when the 14th day before a Florida vacation starts, so I can start checking the weather!!

Looks like Friday the 7th will be sunny and a high of 80!!! If it were NH weather it would change a dozen times before then, but sunny, 80 degree weather sounds just right for Florida. I can't wait - it doesn't help that it was snowing all day yesterday here!!

So.... I'm doing the fourteen day weather dance~!~~~:Pinkbounc :bounce: :jumping1: :cool1:

I do the same thing! It is absolutely freezing here lately. I need to defrost already! Just looking at that terrific weather outlook should warm you up, TigerLilly's Mom! Your trip is almost here!:bounce:

LOL. We're going to Hilton Head Island on Nov. 1 for a week and I've been doing the exact same thing except it is a ten day window. I've been checking every day!

Not silly at all! I do the same thing. I have 5 more days until I can do the Accuweather check dance. 80 degrees ahhhh I hope we get that lucky it's 45 here right now:eek: .

Have a great weekend!

Hiya.........I do exactly the same, sometimes 2 months in advance!! I even check the weather for Florida sometimes just for fun.....! The other thing I usually start checking at the same time is traffic reports - roadworks, airlines and deals on foreign exchange. The build up is soooo exciting I absolutely agree. :D

Hi Selina - what is the weather like for you over there now?

I love the planning for a trip almost more than the trip! I have ordered my new 2004 Universal Studios book - and am impatiently waiting for it to come in the mail so I can sit down and plan. I can't wait!!!

Hi Tonia, We have had a very warm and sunny summer, September was particularly warm for the time of year...still in the 70's and towards the end 60's. Even last week was still particularly mild for October. But this week - it has finally come to an end. We have a very cold wind blowing - but still very little rain - which all the farmers are praying for. Today has been sunny but cold - because of the wind. Everyone was looking out for Concorde at 4 pm today as you may have heard it was taking it's final flight from NY to London-Heathrow - it flies directly over us as we are about 25 miles from Heathrow (which is about 40 min drive!).

U are most certainly not alone tigerlily i check the weather daily just to remind me there is sunshine and i am currentlt trying to convince dw we need to book for 2005 just after xmas but she keeps telling me she wants house decorated:confused: go figure me want hols hols:crazy:

TigerLilly's Mom, I know just what you mean!! That forecast means our trip is actually getting closer!

I can now check the weather for the 1st 3 days of my vacation and so far it looks great. I'm going to wait to start packing until next weekend though just to be sure. Are you bringing pants & shorts or just shorts? I'm always cold and I'm afraid the mornings/evenings will be chilly in shorts so I'm thinking about mainly capri pants.

Can't hardly wait!! :D

I think capri pants and short sleeved shirts - I doubt I will wear shorts, maybe I will bring a pair or two. I can't imagine it being hot!! But, 75 - 80 is perfect weather for me, so I hope it is not cool also.

We were in Floriday last Dec. - early and it was in the 70's the whole time - so I think capris would be good.

That's what I think too. I'm probably going to bring a couple cardigans to wear over some tank tops in the morning/evening that will be easy to take off and stash somewhere with the gazillion other things I'll be carrying for my hubby & kids!

We're staying at the RPR too so maybe I'll run into ya. We won't be checking in there until the 9th (staying at HIFS for 4 days before that). I'll be the blonde with the big smile on her face from finally being on vacation! LOL! ;)

Maybe I'll see you on the 9th. I'll be the brunette ALONE with DH and NO kids!! LOL But, I hear you about lugging stuff around - I did it this summer with the kids. Water, sunscreen, extra socks, souveniers, ect.!! I'm so excited to be just carrying a camera - no backpacks!! We are not even checking luggage - I can't imagine how that will feel. Have a great vacation and say "howdy" if you see me!

No backpacks - aahhh, that's total bliss!! OK - I'll be on the lookout for an empty-handed brunette with no kids!

If you get lonely for some kids around - I'll probably be happy to lend you mine by that time. ;)

Have a great trip!

I just want to mention, I started a thread about a possibly DISmeet in early November (either Nov. 8, 9, or 10). Would any of you be interested??? If so, please vote and post in that thread...I'd love to meet you!! :)

Almost time!!!!!
