Silly,but I am going to miss my vehicle

We bought a new car (new to me a 2010) so now we are selling my 2004 Xterra, we bought this new, so I have had it for 10 years. The only reason I bought a new car is because my parents sold it to me for a very great price. ($4/5000 below what its worth) plus it had very low miles (26,000)

This is the first vehicle that I am actually going to miss. I wish I could keep it, but we could really use the money to pay off DD's car and pay for her wedding. Also will save about $40 a month on insurance. Plus, it is going to need AC work very soon. My DH's friend is buying it, so at least I can see it from time to time LOL

I had a Porsche Boxster which I purchased at a time in my life when I didn't ever want kids. 10 years into our marriage and 3 years after the purchase, my DH and I changed our mind about a kid. On gorgeous days, I still miss that car. I always think "It would be a great day to have the top down." Of course then I remember that I went and got myself knocked up and my DS is worth having to drive around in a "grocery go getter".

I know that feeling! Before I purchased a brand new car in '08 I had a '97 Plymouth Neon and I loved that little car. I'm still sometimes envious when I see another one on the road. It's the only car I've ever owned that didn't give me problems!
