Silly Beverage Question

I am having a hard time right now. I know my logic is going to sound silly to some of you, but maybe it'll get a laugh. I'm posting this here cause I plan to buy DVC sometime next year as I mentioned in a prior post. I'm also addicted to Mr. Pibb/Pibb Xtra, whatever you call it where you are. I saw it in a vending machine at one of the parks and I'm assuming it's also avail in some of the restaurants. I know CS at AKL (or wherever Boma is) has it and I think someone else said it's at Pop too as well as one of the Boardwalk or BC locations. From what I've read here, it's not currently offered at BLT/CR.

I've had my heart set on a monorail resort though and from what I've seen of BLT, it has rooms that don't open to the outside which I want. I have sleep issues and have had problems in the past when I stay at hotels that open to the outside instead of an inner corridor.

I wouldn't mind traveling to a property to purchase my beverage of choice a few times during my stay, but I really want to make use of the refillable mug so I was thinking it wouldn't make sense to pay the $13 or whatever they're going for now and then stay somewhere where I'll only be filling it up 1/2 the time.

Thoughts? Advice/suggestions? I know it's strange to worry about a type of soda, but I'm thinking this might be the board where people will understand. I also can't wait for my first Dole Whip!

Just ship it in a box to yourself prior to arrival. Just include your reservation number and date of arrival on the box. Your resort will hold it for you up to a couple of weeks prior to your arrival. No worries!

I understand. We are Pepsi people, so have to go to a grocery store to get our drink of choice. We rent a car and go to Publix and get our soda as well as snacks, water to make coffee, breakfast foods and sometimes fixins for a dinner.
