We got ours done at WDW...as a couple before DD was born and when DD was 8 mos. Would love to get DD's done again now that she is 4. Thanks for posting! I like the Disneyland written on the bottom.

I have always liked how the silhouettes looked, but never got them done. I am thinking this year to finally get one done.

The frames they sell have hidden mickey's in them. I believe Sylvia said there were 23 in there. I bought 5 frames while there, gave the framed silhouettes to grandparents for Christmas.

LOL - I had to go look. I counted 24 hidden mickey's. Thanks for pointing them out as I hadn't noticed.

Thanks for this post! Got one done on Sunday of DD5 and DS13months. Pefect gifts for mothers day for the Grandmas! And of course I got one for myself. AP holders get a discont on the frames to so that was a nice little savings.

Not too hard, but most of my charges were in the $30 range. BTW: The Disney Rewards Visa discount is 10%.

I think its just the sihouettes and frames....I don't remember anything else.

We do these every trip and update our frames. We give the second set to my parents. We take a little acid free scrapbooking pen and write the dates on the back in a corner.

3minnies1mickey is right, they only sell the silhouettes there. However, if you were to get more than 1 set and get frames as well I think one could hit the $50 minimum for the Disney Visa discount.

I got one done a few years ago. It was so COOL!! She was done done so quickly and it was amazing to watch her hands move so quickly with the scissors!! I would do it again anytime!

I just got one done for my stepmom of her horse for mothers day and it turned out really well! Also, I didn't know this ahead of time, but if you bring in a picture for them to use for the silhouette instead of sitting down for it they'll stop to take the customers who do need to sit down for theirs. Which makes sense of course, it's easy for us to wander off and do other things (like shop or get fast passes...or both in our case), but when you're waiting to sit down for your silhouette you can't really go anywhere.

We're going to get at least one more horse one for my dad for his fathers day present, but I don't know if I can bring myself to get any of my pets done... There's just too many to figure out where to start.

They really are amazing though, considering I can barely cut a straight line.
