Does anyone know how much these are? Where exactly can you get them? Does the price include framing? How long do they take?

I think that about covers all my questions. :rotfl:

They are $9 for each person, frames are also $9 each. My DH and I had these done. Also I brought in a pic of my dog (profile shot) and had that done as well. So cute!

Thanks for the info! Looking forward to getting them done in December.

Is it a popular thing to do at the park? What I mean is, does it get quite busy at the shop where they are done?

We had no wait when we had our daughters' done at the end of June. It was $9 for the silhouette (she cuts two copies at one time) and the frame was $10. These are my favorite souvenirs.

We had no wait either. It just takes a few minutes. Definitely buy the frames. I bought the cheapest frames they had, and they don't hang on the wall flush. There is a wire stand on the back and folds "flat" but not really flat. I have looked EVERYWHERE for others frames and cannot find the right size. I did find one place on line but they were about $50. So I would highly recommend buying frames right there. BTW - you get 2 cut outs for the price of 1, since they cut 2 papers at once. They are mirror images of each other. Great for grandma!!

We got those frames too and upon looking at it the wire pops right off (assuming you mean the oval frames that say Disneyland on it on the bottom that are displayed in the shop?). Just take the plastic stopper off one side, push the wire through and the other side will be easy to slide out. I kept mine in case I want to display them on a shelf or table later. But at least now the frame is flush to the wall:) Hope that helps!

And if you need 3 (like I did, for gifts for the grandparents), they only charge you half price for the 3rd one. I thought that was nice. I went in there assuming you had to purchase in increments of 2.

Good to know! I wanted to do this last year when DH and I went for our honeymoon, but forgot about it until we came back. :(

Thank you! I have been nervous to do that in case it broke the whole thing.

Yep! It came right out and will obviously easily go in again later:) just keep the plastic stopper that goes on them for later.

OMG, I totally want one of my dogs! Thanks for the idea! :thumbsup2

I didn't get mine framed there because I wanted to do this. :) Yes, it doesn't fit exactly, but it looks amazing. It was $9 and took about 5 minutes, there was no wait when we did it but I've seen people waiting, mostly at night.

How did you do yours? I love it. We might have the opprotunity to go back for a few days in March and would love to get one of my 3 kids. Did you buy this frame elsewhere and add stickers? I can't quite tell.

I believe those are pins that were traded with CMs.

So, it's still $9 rather you have one person or more in the picture, & for the $9 you get two cutouts? I guess what I'm asking is if I have one pic with my three boys will it be $9 or $27? Sorry...I'm having a little bit of a blond moment.

OK ours turned out NOTHING like this. They are Horrible and look nothing like...well.... anything. They barely look like people! It must depend on who is working. :confused3

I purchased the frame on clearance at Target, I think I got it for $5 or so, those are indeed trading pins that we got by trading with CM's. I had this idea in my mind as soon as I saw the pins so we traded like crazy one trip and got them all. The pins are stuck into the mat that came with the frame, it is quite easily my favorite DLR souvenir. :)

We were lucky, we got Sylvia, she's the BEST there is and she's been doing it basically since the shop opened. She's extremely fast and very very very talented! I was thrilled, and my Mom loved her copy as well. Although I didn't frame hers like I did mine.

I don't remember it being $9 per person, I remember it being $9 for the first person and a second person was less, like $4-5 instead.......if that much. I swear I paid about $12 but that was probably 4 years ago, maybe 5.
