Silhouette at WDW

Do they do the black and white silhouette cut outs at WDW anymore? I think I saw them at Liberty square years ago. If so, has anyone had one dine lately. How much were they? Thanks.

Yes they still do them in Liberty square. They are $7.00 per person and you get 2 silhouettes. There is also a cart outside of France in Epcot. There is one in DTD but the price is higher there.

We had my niece's done at Downtown Disney. There was a cart in the courtyard outside Pooh's Corner and Once Upon a Toy. We got 3 for $15 I believe.

It is on the wrap-around patio/porch around one of the shops, behind some of the shops, between the main drag of Frontierland and the smoking area.

It took less than a half hour to handle both children (separately).

This is afamily tradition of ours. My parents have one of them together from when they were younger. My parents also have ones o my brother and I when we were younger and we bought them one for my son from Disneyland. Now we need to have one done of my daughter to add to their collection. I will make sure I keep my eyes peeled in Liberty Square.

Do you think they can do one of a 2 yo that doesn't like to sit still ?

We had those done in 1973! I hadn't thought about those in years.

When I had my kids done in August there was a little girl about 18 mos having her's done and she wasn't sitting still! The dad was holding her and the mom was practically standing on her head to get her to look straight ahead. The artist did a pretty good job and was very nice. When my son (7) sat down he joked with him "did he need Mom to wave a water bottle around" Just about then Cinderellabration started and he kidded him that if he sat still- which he was- he would be done in "time for him to see the princesses, oh joy", they both laughed at that! (boy humor) He was from France and did a good job on both of my kids.

Too funny, I was just thinking about these last night and that we should get our boys done when we go in December. can you get them framed and matted? How much?

We got DD's done in May at the MK. Right off of Main Street, after the bakery, on the right side street. The guy was great and did it so quickly. We got 2 copies and the frame. I don't remember the cost but I do remember thinking it was great for what we got. Also, it is more expensive at DtD. DS, 3 at the time would not sit still for it. Hopefully he will in Nov. It really is a great souvenier. I do regret not buying 2 frames, the other silhouette copy is a great gift for a grandparent. I'll have to remember that in Nov!

We will make sure than to try nd have DD's done. What a great Christmas gift for my parents and their collection. I will make sure to have something to have her occupied. The people that do that are so talented !!

I will tell you we got ours right off Main street and she offered to hold it until we left the park. Put our name on it and stored it in the cart. Not sure about delivering back to your room. Also the frames were $6 each and it's worth it because it's hard to find the oval shaped frame at home so 2 kids at $13 a pop it was a good deal!
