SIL-BIL Offering Timeshare in Acapulco

Just heard from SIL/BIL that they have a week in Acapulo booked as an exchange that they can't use.. It is their Aruba week upgraded to a 2BR at the W.I.V.C-Mar Azul in Gonazlo de Sandoval in Acapulco, Mexico.
I am so tempted to say yes. Has anyone heard of this IntervalWorld timeshare location.
We will scrape up mileage to fly from PHL to ACA...Will take a taxi to location, and just chill out for the week.
Anyone stayed at this location south of Acapulco?

We are going to go for a week. We found an off-peak flight out of PHL and we can use frequent flyer mileage.

I've never been to that resort, but have been to Acapulco. We hired a taxi to take us on a tour of the city during the day. The driver was great. Showed us some star's homes up on a hill side. Took us to his favorite place to eat....all very nice, But, oh my goodness those roads are nuts. A car was stalled in the middle of the lane, so our taxi just hit him to get him out of the way(not a crash type of hit, more a pushing the other guy off the road unexpectedly kind of thing) We went parasailing from the beach(totally terrifying with large ships and boats in the water) It has been so long, that I can't remember many specifics. I'm a firm believer that if you aren't home and there is a likelihood of a palm tree in the vicinity, then go!

Have a great time! We haven't been to Acapulco for a long time, and not familiar with that resort, but I do remember the driving - well, riding. The craziest drivers anywhere! Taking a taxi is a good plan! Last time we were there (not sure if it's changed) they didn't use meters in cab's - so be sure to negotiate the price of the ride before you get in. Everything was negotable - and if I recall correctly more often than not the offer price was 2-3 times what you needed to pay for anything, including taxi fares. Outside of the resorts you would get swarmed by street vendors but I've heard that's changed quite a bit.... I'm sure you'll have a wonderful relaxing vacation.

Thanks. My SIL is going to join us. She just moved from NJ to CO and I convinced her to come and chill out with us. It's her timeshare and it will be nice to spend time with SIL (DH's sister). Don't think we will be taking too many trips to CO....would rather go to WDW but we are thrilled that SIL offered the Timeshare...
