Signed Photo Mat

Does anyone know if you can leave a photo mat and markers at the front desk to be signed by the characters? We did this on a Disney Cruise and it turned out great but sadly it got messed up during our recent move. I would love to be able to replace it. Has anyone ever done this or know if it is possible?

I think you would have to take it around to the characters yourself since for the most part they are not at the resorts.
