Signatures--enabled or disabled?

I know I probably miss out on a lot of extra info that is available in the sig lines, but in the interest of brevity and loading time, I have my signatures turned off. Just wondering what the mix is here.

Always enabled. Have used ignore once in the past, but signatures always on.
