We are going to be in Disney for Mother's Day and my Dh wants to take me to one of the siginatures for dinner either in the CR or GF. We have a 10yo DD and myyougest will be 13 mo at that time. Right now she is doing very good in restaurants, sitting in her high chair but of course she does laugh and make the typical baby noises and some talking although not very loud. If we have an early meal is she going to be the only baby in there? Is people gonna be put off with her being there? I have never eat at one of the signatures. Leaving er behind is not an option as this is Mother's Day and quite frankly strangers do not keep my kids no matter if it is Disney or not.

Taking her is fine and she probably won't be the only baby there. Just be prepared to remove her from the restaurant if the "typical baby noises" degenerate into screaming or loud crying.

Honestly I've never heard Disney Restaurants not allowing babies (not sure about V&A though).
The last time we went to CG I saw strollers, so I'm sure they allow babies. I can't say about Narcoosees or Citricos. Although I've seen pictures of kids eating at Narcoosees so I'm sure that's ok.

No worries, Disney is a happy place. They know most people will bring kids to eat. You'll be fine.

ps: For Mother's day I made ressie at Le Cellier for an early dinner. I know it's not signature but it's one of the fancier restaurant in Disney. We're bringing our DD (1yr) there as well. I'm not worried about it. If she fusses then one of us will take her out if needed. If we can't calm her down then we'll take a to go. But we'll cross the bridge when we get there. I'm not worried... I'll be at Disney! :)

Well behaved children of any age are welcome at all of Disney's signatures. There are some restaurants that are much quieter than others, some where you will see more children than others. Ca Grill and Narcoosees are two that have many children in them, even later in the evening. Citricos is a bit more upscale and adult, although we've seen plenty of very well behaved young diners in there too (there's just not as much in atmosphere there that a child would enjoy).

California Grill was pretty loud when we were there. You wouldn't have been able to hear a baby unless it was crying or screaming.

Also, go at an early time and there will be more kids there.

:goodvibesAs others said, children are always welcome. Just, please be prepared to remove the child if a fit should happen (as I have had to do in the past). My DH and I were trying to enjoy a romantic dinner at the Cali Grill for our 10th anniversary and the table next to us had two children. They were absolutely uncontrollable and the parents did nothing. Really ruined the moment when my DH surprised me with another diamond. I could barely hear him over the screaming boys! So while, yes, it is Disney there are also people there that want to have a nice romantic evening without screaming children. Please note, I said screaming. Nothing wrong with those that are quitely enjoying their meal.:goodvibes

Thank you everyone we have decided on Narcoosees. I got a 5:45pm ADR. My DD(10) actually picked as she liked this menu the best. We will certainly take our 1yo out if she begins to act up, I wouldn't want to interupt the other diners, plus I wouldn't be able to enjoy my meal either. I won't let me kids act up in any place, I would remove them from Mcdonald's. I don't go with the thoery it is Disney and kids can do what they want to.

I believe Victoria and Albert's is the only WDW restaurant that does not allow small children at all. Bistro de Paris is one that quietly discourages bringing children. They do not offer a kids menu. Well behaved children are welcome at all other WDW restaurants though. Take her, enjoy, and just be prepared to take her out if she becomes disruptive to other diners.
