Signature picture now just a link - please help

My picture in my signature was working just fine until the upgrade the other night. Now, I seem to be getting only a link rather than the picture itself. Is it just coincidental that it seemed to happen at the same time as the upgrade or is there something new I need to know?

Any help is most appreciated,

Your sig picture is just showing as a link and not as an image embed.

check your user CP signature section - around your pic it will say:

{URL=http://www.yoursitelocation.com}{/URL}

and it should say :


{IMG}http://www.yoursitelocation.com{/IMG]}

I have replaced the square brackets with squigglies so you can see it. Replace with sqaure brackets to get them to work.

I'm taking a guess here, but I am seeing a pattern of images using vB tags that don't specificaly type the file, showing links only instead of the image. I switched it to html from vB code and now it seems to work. This is only the second one I've seen like this, so it's still just a guess.
