Hi,

I am arriving in Disneyworld in 6 more sleeps with my mother and 10 year old son. We have purchased the DDP. Is it possible for us to eat at a TS restaurant and just use 2 TS and order a Childs meal off the menu for my son and pay for it with a credit card? That way we can save a few TS's for Signature Meals.

The Dining Plan rules state that you cannot use child meal entitlements for adult meals, so the problem comes down to how can they be sure you'll not use the TS credits you "save" for adult meals. Since they cannot effectively do that at this time, you may encounter enforcement, as some other guests have, preventing you from doing as you suggest.

That's all we can really say on this issue, due to direction provided by the moderators of this forum:

Any questions regarding the use of the plan that are not answered specifically in the WDW Dining Brochure cannot be accurately answered on these boards and should be addressed to WDW Dining. Interpretation of the rules has led to a tremendous amount of debate on these boards. To avoid further conflict, we will close any threads that ask for interpretation of the rules and encourage the poster to contact WDW Dining.
