Hello Ladies!

I would love to see pictures or hear from those of you who did a signature drink during cocktail hour. We are really considering adding this in. Our colors are red and lavendar, so would like to do a fancy red drink and call it something like "True Love's Kiss" - maybe a cosmo? Would love to see what others did.

I haven't had my wedding yet, so we haven't decided on ours, but a good red drink could be a red win sangria! It is a huge hit at every party and shower I have gone too lately. For lavendar.. hmm I am not sure for that color!!! But for the red, you could also do cosmo!!

We haven't had our wedding yet, but we will be serving Strawberry Bellinis at our reception. We went with the bellinis for a couple of reasons: 1. we are having a brunch reception, 2. the drinks are pink (my colors are black, white, and hot pink), and 3. we got engaged in Venice, Italy, which is where bellinis were "invented".

:goodvibes

Great ideas! Does anyone else have past experiences with this that they'd like to share? :yay:

were doin a packaged call bar at our reception and would also like to do a signature drink as well. however I dont know if it would be extra to do a specialty drink. I guess as long as we use the liquors that are included we cant be charged extra?..does anyone know if they include syrups such as grenadine, sweetnsour, and blue curacoa with the package bars. Our colors are teal, purple and pink...and we were thinking of doing the famous glowtinis that can be found around the resort...minus the glow part..unless that doesnt cost a lot.

We are doing a signature drink and my color is purple. Our drink is basically cranberry, vodka, roses lime juice and a splash of blue curacao to make the purple color.

We did a champagne punch (we had a brunch) in a pinkish red color - our colors were red. No photos in photobucket yet. We rimmed the glass with sugar (there is an extra charge for this - I think .50 each). As we had a brunch this was offered during the cocktail hour and then there was an open bar during the reception.

I had a signature drink at my wedding. I was given a list of like 6 or so choices. I wanted to create my own, but that wasn't possible. I chose the only one that was purple and called it "True Love's Kiss". I personally didn't like it but my guests drank so much of it, they ran out of the glasses! And this didn't cost anything extra.

We had a signature drink. We didn't pick it to go with our colours we just picked something that sounded nice! We chose the yak attack from yak and yeti! Everyone loved it and still mention it now. It's orange if you wanted to know
