I've already booked some ADRs for May, one of which is Flying Fish as I really fancy sitting at the chef's counter :cool1: but am 'stuck' on another signature restaurant.

I was thinking about Yachtsman as I'm staying at the BWI so it's a short walk away, but I'm not overkeen on the lway the tables are laid out being a solo diner :confused3 so am now thinking about Narcoossees or Jiko.

Has anyone eaten solo at any of these restaurants? Any preference?

Thanks

I have been to nearly all the signatures (apart from Artists Point and Brown Derby) If you feel more comfortable at a chefs counter I would suggest Jiko.

Ive enjoyed both Flying Fish and the Yachtsman.

First time to Yachtsman, was for a friends birthday and I was NOT impressed. Second time I went was much improved and had great company too.

Both times at Flying Fish were great.

None have been solo though.

Artist Point is good too! Friend said I am picky about my food... and maybe I am. But there are many great choices, whether you are alone or not. I think there is a thread for solo diners to meet someone and share a meal.

Thanks Paula, I've opted for Jiko :goodvibes

I've a few meals planned with friends but I'm determined to eat solo too, I think it'll be fun trying new places, especially the restaurants with the chef's tables.

I'm pleased to hear you had consistently good meals at Flying Fish, I haven't eaten there for going on 6 years so am keen to give it another go.

LOL re. being picky

I have been to Yachtsmen twice and didn't care for it either time.

Jiko is far, far superior.
