Signature Dining Value

This would be my list with a couple of caveats. Victoria & Alberts should be everyone's number one, but it's kind of a outlier as a signature..Definitely worth the money in my opinion. Second is California Grill could easy be my number one most times we are there. But two recent bad experiences kind of made me sour on it a bit. I'll still go to CG on my next trip and I expect to fall in love with it again though! How about you?

Thank you for sharing! We love Artist Point, Narcoossee's, and California Grill. Le Cellier is sometimes great, sometimes meh but it's always our first night tradition. We are trying Victoria & Alberts for the first time on our next trip. We are also considering Yachtmans Steakhouse and Flying Fish. We have had mixed results with Fultons and will be skipping that one.

I've been a big believer in this for quite a few years once we dumped the dining plans for good. Better service, better beer and wine selections most of the time, better variety and more unique menus.

Agree 100%. My wife and I try to save money by stopping on our way, buying our favorite wine and having a glass of wine before dinner at our resort on our patio, or by the pool, and then drinking water with our meal at Signature Restaurants. We also split an entre and have a couple of appetizers as well. Makes Signature dining much more affordable.

All personal opinion - I'm not right, you aren't wrong....

REAL Signatures are wonderful. Just be a bit wary of the "fake SIGS" at WDW that were "promoted" for economic reasons. My wife and I know which these are.... and we avoid them, and don't talk about them because it generates nothing but negative replies.

The one signature that, IMHO, screams "FAKE SIG" is LeCellier. Dungeon-like room, with tables on top of each other, indifferent service, and average quality food. Cinderella's Royal Table could also end up there, as it is a signature only because of the price. However, CRT at least has Princesses. LeCellier has nothing to recommend it, beyond a huge historic base of reviews when it was a one credit steak house. If you're going to pay for a signature steak house, walk the extra 10 minutes to the Yachtsman Steakhouse and get the real thing!

Love this thread..Since we are staying onsite for 14 nights, and on DDP at WL...We have five signature experiences booked for this October..Four of which are old favourites..Jiko..YS...AP...and CG...The new one which will be our first time is Narcoossee's...We are huge fans of fine dining so I agree that signature restaurants are way ahead of one credit ones...Our only let down was way back in 2010 when we tried Le Cellier..Pretty average...

I used to 100% agree with this but I have to confess to being disappointed with our favourite Signatured at Easter so I'm thinking cutting massively back on disney Dining.

We loved the Boathouse had a wonderful meal.
We had an awful meal at Narcooses. Meals arrived cold, were replaced and the replacements also arrived cold. Menu really reduced.
We had a good meal at California Grill
We had a very average meal at Jiko
We had a nice meal at V&As but the price has gone up so much it isn't worth it any longer and we won't be back
We missed Flying Fish.

As far as Disney-operated signatures go:

I've always had really good meals at Flying Fish, Jiko, and Artist Point. Citricos has also been consistently good.

California Grill has been somewhat less consistent for me. I had an absolutely fantastic meal there in 2012 before they refurbed the restaurant but have also had a few less than stellar meals there. I've only been to Narcoossee's once and thought it was pretty good.

Yachtsman has always been jusk okay for me. Same thing with Hollywood Brown Derby. Both are signficantly better, however, than Le Cellier (the only thing signature about Le Cellier is the mushroom filet, othewise, it's nothing more than a glorified one credit restaurant).

I've yet to try Victoria & Alberts (which I consider signature plus), Monsieur Paul, or any of the Disney Springs signatures.
