Signature Dining and the dining plan

I have California Grill booked which is a signature restaurant. If I get the dining plan and use 2 TS credits, what does it include? Appetizer, entree, dessert, drink? Or is it entree, dessert and drink.

I'm not a big dessert eater, would rather have an appetizer. I have a split stay in December, the first part is 3 days and I'm considering the regular dining plan. If there's no appetizer then I'll just skip the DDP and pay out of pocket for the ability to eat what I want.

I've never gotten the dining plan, but I'm pretty sure the appetizer is no longer part of the regular DDP. It's entree, drink and desert. Sometimes they'll allow substitutions but it's never a guarantee.

Ok, I just did some quick research, I think I've misspoke. I'm going to retract my statement and let someone else hopefully answer this for you. I don't want to give bad information!

Sorry, but it doesn't matter that it is signature. The DDP is just how you pay for your meal and you only get what is allowed for each plan. The regular DDP only allows entree, dessert, and drink, so that is all you get.

There are some dinner packages that include app, entree, dessert, drink that you can do on the regular dining plan (Tiffins ROL, for example), but if you were to eat at Tiffins without the ROL package you would get the normal entitlement of entree, dessert, drink.

Regular ddp ts entitlements is entree, dessert beverage, now it can be an alcohol beverage

You may, at the restaurant’s discretion, sub your dessert for a side salad or cup of soup, but nothing off the appetizer menu

Same entitlements for signature, it will just cost you 2 credits

Thanks all. I think I'll just pay out of pocket and skip the dining plan. I'd rather eat what I want, than what Disney decides to allow me.
