Okay - count me in! Very excited - and super glad that the challenges will not require me to find someplace that I have to run on a balance beam across a pool. I'd fail my team mates at that one.
Since you are so excited bout balance beams, maybe I can add that in!

Hi!!![]()
I was wondering whether I could join you - although I am not in the US (i'm from the UK) so I don't get to watch the TV show that you are talking about??![]()

And as yet I haven't read all the previous posts - would it help me to do that??![]()

I know nothing about British conversion, but it shouldn't matter. If you record in stones then just tell Brenda (dare2dream), our weight keeper, that you are using a British system. We don't compare the actual weight lost by each team, but rather the PERCENTAGE of weight lost, so it all works out in the end. If you weight in at 15 stones (roughly 210 lbs) and lose 1 stone over the course of the challenge, then you become 14 stones or 196 lbs and the percentages are the same.

I haven't really watch the show, but I was planning on watching it this season. I think it starts on my birthday. Anyway this sounds like a great idea for everyone.
Is it true you have to share your starting weight to join in this?![]()

Yes and no. Most people only tell the weight keeper their weight. And every week tell her what their weigh in weight is. On the general threads, we just report "down 2" "up .5" sort of thing. And if that bothers you you can just say you are up or down with no numbers. It is all up to you. But yes, the weight keeper needs the actual lbs every week.
