Hi friends! :yay: I've been away from WISH for a looooooonnngggg time :mad: which explains why I've gained back everything I lost a few years back, and then some. :rolleyes1 I joined one of the BL challenges a couple of years ago, but didn't do anything to commit to it, so of course, I didn't lose any weight. Brand new year ... let's try this again. :goodvibes

A huge HELLO to all of my WISH Walkers Team 2005 ... so great to see you all here. That was a truly memorable event that I will never, ever forget. We trained, supported and accomplished a huge goal together. :grouphug:

Karen ... have a great trip to WDW. We're headed again Jan 24th for a week. :thumbsup2

Lily ... good luck as you go for Goofy ... AGAIN! :worship:

Mary Liz - Hi - so glad to see you again! I think of you and your sister's often. The Wish Walker's trip in 2005 was so special - I plan on getting back to where I was that year in respects to my weight and my exercise. I'd actually love to do the marathon again next year!!
 
This is my first time wandering over to the WISH board and I'd love to jump in on this challenge! I really need to lose weight and improve my health!

Shelley-I am glad that it is starting back again also. I have been trying to get rid of all the holiday foods in my house the last few days. I've trashed a lot of it because I was the only one eating it. I'm ready to get back on track. Hopefully the weigh in tomorrow will not show too much gain from my past few weeks, good luck to you - Lisa.
 

I'm in if it's still not too late to join....looking at the Christmas pics of myself is absolutely depressing. :sad2:
 
So far we are at 95 participants. Remember it is never too late to join the WISH Biggest Loser 7 Challenge. To join just PM or email me at brenda@kbelectric.biz with your initial weight tomorrow, Friday. If you are late, no worries, just sent in your report as soon as possible.

I do love all your message but with so many participants I am not able to respond to each message. I am also a procrastinator so sometimes your message is not viewed right away.

To join the challenge just send in your initial weight. Remember your weight needs to be reported each week in pounds ie xxx or xxx.x. Please look at the number carefully to make sure you typed it correctly before sending the report to me. Each week you may add 'I lost x pounds this week' if you would like but you MUST also include the number of pounds you weight ie xxx or xxx.x. I will then use the magic formula in the top secret highly sophisticated BL spreadsheet to calculate your percentage of weight lost for the week. Superstars are named according to the percentage of weight lost.

Stay tuned tomorrow for our BL7 thread. Remember there will be no teams for this BL round but a participant list will be at the beginning of the thread. Make sure your name is on the list and send your weight report to me. Your weight is kept confidential and no one other than your faithful weight keeper (me) will ever know your weight. If your name does not appear on the participant list PM or email me with your initial weight to join the challenge. The participant list will be updated periodically.

This is your challenge. You will only get out of it what you put into it. Use this as a tool to help you in your weight loss journey. Each Tuesday, starting January 13, a list of weekly Biggest Loser superstars will be announced. If you work hard your name could be on the list.

I personally challenge you to do all you can to make sure that every single week of this 12 week challenge our group posts a loss. Some will have struggles along the way and some will maintain but as a whole I want our group to be really Big Losers!!

MaryLiz- did you read how I found a VERY old PM from you just yesterday? It was like from 2005. I think about you so often! Too bad we're not gonna be down there at the same time- BUMMER! Please stay with us here. It's my first time back in ages- and I'd LOVE to keep in touch with you and your DS!!

I am realatively new to posting but read often. I am hoping to lose at least 10 pounds. I Have 2 kids and did WW to lose the baby weight but I find myself starting to lose my focus an hope this will keep me accountable. I also hope to find a new enthusiasm for excercise. I can't seem to get myself to the treadmill after a long day of working and taking care of the kids.

Count me in! I have two vacations planned in the next 12 weeks, but I'll try to stick to healthy eating the rest of the time. ;)
