I have stayed at the Value resorts in late January/early February for the last 8 years. We (myself,wife,3 children) have been there when the dance and cheer teams are there. We have never had a serious problem. Most of the time we enjoy seeing the enthusiasm and excitement the kids have. They work very hard to be good at what they do. It takes alot of time and money to get there for them, just as it does for us. Of course they go overboard at times and there is always some bad behaviour when you get a group of young people together especially away from their parents. We have been on buses when a group will break out in a cheer, loved it! Should we tell them not to be excited unless they are alone in an isolated area. Is it as bad as people who do not give up their seat for a mother holding a young child? How about large people who take up more space than me on a bus? some people smell - is that a reason to ban them? Is the bus ride more fun if it is like a tomb or if an impromptu song breaks out? If you think it is bad and I enjoy it, who is wrong?
I am not condoning bad behavior. It should always be taken care of. Running in hotel halls, excessive noise late or early, rudeness should not be tolerated. But to write a petition basically wanting to ban groups of people seems a little extreme. There is bad/offensive behavior from alot of different age/types/single and groups of people. How many people have held a spot in line for your family while they are off doing something else. Is that fair to the families all waiting in line. If you are sick, should I have to ride the same bus as you?
Once again, I am not saying that people should be able to behave however they want, but some of these posts sound like the forming of a lynch mob.
Happy Holidays to all. We will be at Disney in February again.
