Sightings of Buzz Lightyear at MK?

My son is a HUGE Buzz fan, and I would like to know whether Buzz is a character we will be able to meet in the park. Has anyone met Buzz at the MK? Thanks!

Wen we visited earlier this year, we found him hanging out at his ride. We also saw him at Al's toy barn at MGM

I have seen Buzz a couple of times in MK. Both times I saw him, he was just on the other side of the bridge that goes into Tomorrowland. Of course, you can usually catch him in MGM too. Good luck. dawn

I saw him on my last trip outside of the Timekeeper in Tomorrowland and also at Al's Toy Barn in Disney-MGM Studios.

In case you collect autographs when at WDW you should know that Buzz doesn't sign autographs he "Stamps" them with one of those metal type of rubber stamps that goes "clunk clunk" when he stamps. My kids liked it as much as the ones where they signed with a pen and it was a little different from the others too. But, it might be worth preparing him for.

Also, there is a toy stand right outside of the Buzz ride that has a lot of Buzz Toys that you don't see in most toy stores. You can buy them there and have them delivered back to your resort if you are staying in a WDW resort.

Last month, I spotted Buzz outside where Timekeeper use to be. There was a rope queue leading to a podeum that Buzz uses to put the autograph book on so he can stamp it. Chances are good if you find that, you found where he'll be.

Can't say I've seen Buzz in MK but just thought I would share this with you all.The whole family went in '98 & our weather was terrible!On our MGM day it had started out fine but by late afternoon the sky was black.We'd decided to leave & as we had stuff to pick up from guest services,on the way there the heavens opened,so making a mad dash for GS.Once inside we found Buzz & Woody also sheltering from the rain,imagine a 4 year old with his 2 fav characters all to himself!They were brilliant,they played all sorts of silly games with him,for what must have been 30 mins & we took loads of pics.This is what WDW is really about & the reason we keep coming back!

I have to second this post. this is where I have seen him too on at least 2 occasions.

My son is also a HUGE Buzz fan. While we rode the Buzz ride 4 times at MK, no buzz sightings for us. At MGM though, the daily map schedule will tell you when Buzz and Woody will be at Al's Toy Barn. It was great and Jessie was there, too. DS also loved Pizza Planet, right around the corner from Al's. In the courtyard outside, they had several other Toy Story character statues. A Buzz fan definitely needs to take a trip to MGM. There are also a lot of other cool shows and rides at MGM. We went to the park twice.

We just got bac k this past week end. Buzz was right outside the ride, kinda near the corner if you were to walk to that ride right next door. Every day we saw him doing stamped auto. and pictures. Have fun.

Yep, major Buzz sighting over where Timekeeper used to be. There is where Buzz holds court (so to speak) and the kids can get autographs and pictures with him.

Just stop by Guest Relations on your way in and ask when Buzz is scheduled to appear. The schedules are usually pretty accurate, unless Buzz gets called away on an unexpected mission!
