I'm going to Siesta Key, Florida soon, and I was wondering if anyone here knows a good place in the area to go for Easter Dinner. I'm looking for something a bit nicer than Denny's, but not a crazy-priced blowout meal either.

Also, any recommendations for good places to go to see trees and flowers in bloom? I know about the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Sarasota, and I'm already planning on going there.

Don't know for sure but maybe Chart House Restaurant. It's at the pass where St. Armands Longboat Key area. Maybe even the Colombia Restaurant on St. Armands.

Both Chart House and Columbia would be on my list! There is also a Tommy Bahama restaurant in St Armands. Oooh now I want Columbia's salad and sangria!

what type of food are you looking for? if a bit nicer than Denny's - the Chart House, Columbia and Tommy Bahama will not be in the price range you are looking for I am afraid.

Columbia is amazing. Haven't been to the one in St. Armands but the one in Tampa. We use to eat there during Thanksgiving. Their spreads were amazing!

I had kind of ruled out Chart House for my trip in general because reviews tended towards "nice view, OK food". Both the Roy's and Fleming's menus look really good, so we'll probably end up at one or the other for Easter. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions.
