Siesta Key beach. How crowded on a Tuesday in April?

Thinking of doing a day trip to this beach but have been reading that it gets super crowded. We definitely want a gulf side beach and this one is so highly rated. How crowded will it be on a Tuesday, next month, second week of April? We will be driving from Disney so won't get there before 10 am.

I was there a few weeks ago and the parking was full by 11am. Granted it was a Saturday morning, but if you really want to go there, I'd try to get there as early as possible (by 10am) to guarantee a parking space.

The crowds are coming from the college spring break, so even weekdays may be heavier crowds than normal.

Went there again last year. Stayed a week at Sarasota and each day went to this beach. It is the BEST ever. We even packed our lunch and supper and stayed on the beach the entire day. Had big cooler with sandwiches, chips and of course beer. It is very clean and the sand is white and smooth (like white powder). Setup umbrellas and just relaxed all day long. You can't go wrong with this beach and it can't be too crowded, just more people to watch!

We used to live near there. Siesta key beach was always crowded. The trouble is in finding a parking spot. It's worth it though!
