I just discovered that a lot of my happiness in life is wrapped up in how Disney World is doing. This (potential) news has really bummed me out.

It's going to be okay, they're probably just going to take out everything we love and replace it with things that can sell toys.
Siemens employees received emails regarding the change today. Are we hearing this news from any other sources yet?
You're the best at cheering people up.![]()
This is also not the first time SSE has gone sponsorless. So don't panic yet.
Exactly. Wasn't AT&T the previous sponsor? I think there's a good chance SSE will float without a sponsor for a bit, and another sponsor will jump in. Now for Illuminations ... that may be the final nail in the coffin
Love Dame Judi Dench! Love Spaceship Earth as well!Hopefully this doesn't mean that they are changing the attraction at all. I love the ride just the way it is, plus I need my Dame Judi Dench fix. I'll be quoting her lines to the cashier at Wal-mart.
"Remember how easy it was to learn your ABC’s? Thank the Phoenicians—they invented them."
They have Toy Story rides in multiple parks (soon to be a whole land at one of them). I'm sure they could share some Star Wars love with Epcot. If only the golf ball was at Hollywood Studios or Star Wars land was going in EPCOT. This would be a perfect death star ride.
Flashbacks to "AT&T welcomes you aboard Spaceship Earth..." before my beloved Jeremy Irons narration. Damn Judi Dench.

Walter Cronkite FTW
I agree with Cronkite.
