i saw some disney sidewalk chalk at the store and i was wondering if my 3yo dd could use this standing in line:confused3

I sure wouldn't want that on my shoes all day long! I wouldn't recommend it.

:scared1:

I think it'd be a bad idea. I don't think the park would want him doing it, plus I'd be worried that he's going to get stepped on (or tripped over) if someone doesn't realize he's down on the ground drawing pictures. Plus the lines are pretty much always moving.

Gotta go with no. Aside from Disney not wanting to encourage even temporary type graffiti (your kid may stick to appropriate subjects, others won't), consider the movement of the line. You can't really make everyone else step over and around your kid sitting on the ground as the line is supposed to be moving forward. It only feels like forever in one spot. :)

It probably wouldn't be a good idea. People will get it all over the bottom of thier shoes, someone might sit their bag in it while waiting in line, heck a kid might even plop down for a rest and sit right in it.

well i saw on a board somewhere a mom said she had some chalk to keep her kids busy in lines, but i guess we will stick w/ leapster and i spy:rotfl:

Maybe with a small chalkboard? That would be a neat addition to a "busy bag" for a toddler.

Something else to consider would be those small Magna Doodle things, they aren't that much bigger than a Leapster. I'll be taking ours (if I remember to pack it).

We brought a small bottle of bubbles and used while waiting for a parade. My son enjoyed it as well as the two children next to us.

I guess waiting for a parade and doing bubbles is okay, but I don't want someone standing next to me and my family in line doing bubbles. What a mess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

how about aquadoodle pens instead? you know the markers you fill with water. no muss no fuss.
