Can anyone tell me what type of sides are served at Boma? We are thinking of eating there during pur next trip and have a few picky eaters. I know that they will be ok with the meat but I was wondering about the sides. I know that an earlier thread said that this was a good place for even the pickiest of eaters. Any help would be appreciated.

TIA

We just ate there last week. We found the sides to be less "spiced" (not spicy) than the meats. A good bit of salads, cous cous, hummus and a great soup bar. Our whole group really liked everything.

They had everything from vegtables to fruit. They had a child area with the basic favorites. I can not handle spicy and found I had no problem eating anything. In fact a lot of food was on the sweeter side. The names of the dishes seem exoctic but are not far fetched. I did not see very many people leaving food behind.

Sliced meat station and seasoned potato wedges are here, for those "meat and potato" types. Don't let the "Potatoes with Afritude" name throw you. They are non-scary roasted potato wedges.

That being said, there are lots of other things to try. There's nothing wrong with taking a small amount of something to try. If you don't like it, you just go up for a new plate of food. :)

Agreed! To me, this is the beauty of the buffet, especially at a place themed like Boma. Be willing to try things instead of "i don't eat that" or "i dont like that". The worst that could happen is you really don't like it and you go and get something else. ENJOY!

We went in Oct (tons of pics in my link) and I remember a coconut rice, falafel balls, potatoes with afritude, cous cous, and I remember we really didnt like any of the food at all.
