We are currently planning a 7 night stay at Disney. Usually we plan a 3-5 night stay somewhere else afterwards. In the past we have done Daytona, Clearwater and St. Pete Beaches. We have one ds (10). We are looking for something "new" to do. Any suggestions? Preferably it would be either a short drive or a really short flight.

There is also the Everglades. It's about 4 hours from WDW, depending upon how far down you wish to go. You can do the airboat tours of the National Park.

There's always Miami! It's a terrific city to visit!

How about St. Augustine? Nice beaches, also interesting history sites. A friend just told me about a nighttime ghost tour.

St. Augustine is a possibility, though DH isn't very into the historical aspect. Space Center is out, doesn't interest any of us. Plus we are looking for somewhere for several days. Has anyone acutally done the drive down to Key West from Orlando? Is it worth it for only 3 days? Also, what about the Ft. Meyers area? We arelooking maybe for a few toursit attractions, unique shops, possibly a marine life encounter.
